Wabanakeag- Land of the Dawn
Keynote Speaker at Mt Holyoke College on October 13, 2022 from 10am-noon
As a Penobscot native, we are Wabanaki, the people of the dawn, born of this land that we walk upon here in these Northeast woodlands. Our thousands of years of ancestral histories, stories and memories connects us to this place. We will discuss many aspects of the importance of maintaining and honoring these deep connections and relationships from a holistic viewpoint.
